Website terms and prelaunch notice

Information first. No online service offer.

These terms govern use of the NotarySpan informational website published by Central PA Notary LLC. Public commercial intake is paused; a separate written agreement would govern any work Central PA Notary LLC later accepts.

Effective August 16, 2026

A call or email is a general inquiry only. It is not an appointment, price quote, service contract, or coverage guarantee.

Operator and acceptance

This informational website and the proposed services described here are published by Central PA Notary LLC, an Altoona, Pennsylvania business. NotarySpan is a service brand under development, and its related Pennsylvania fictitious-name registration has not yet been completed. This site does not currently accept commercial orders under the NotarySpan name. Central PA Notary LLC remains the only legal entity identified here, and NotarySpan is not a separate legal entity.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you contact us on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to provide the information you share. If a signed agreement with Central PA Notary LLC conflicts with these website terms, the signed agreement controls for the covered services.

What contact through this site means

The website provides general information about a proposed signing-coordination model. Online service-request intake is not currently open. A call or email may be used for a general business question, but it does not submit an order or require Central PA Notary LLC to evaluate or perform work.

If Central PA Notary LLC later considers an engagement, no appointment or service contract exists unless it gives written confirmation that identifies the accepted scope and applicable terms. An email, tracker entry, phone discussion, or preliminary availability check is not that confirmation. Do not tell a signer, borrower, client, or receiving party that an appointment is set until written confirmation is provided.

Our role and professional boundaries

The proposed model is limited to administrative signing logistics. Central PA Notary LLC is not a law firm, title company, settlement agent, escrow holder, lender, or document-preparation service. It does not provide attorney services or legal, tax, lending, title, escrow, or settlement advice; draft or select documents; choose a notarial act or certificate for a signer; interpret document language; decide whether a transaction may close; hold funds; or determine whether a document will be accepted or have a particular legal effect.

In any separately accepted engagement, a state-commissioned notary would perform any notarial act and remains responsible for acting within that commission and applicable law. Questions about documents, legal effect, signer rights, transaction terms, certificate selection, or acceptance must go to the authorized attorney, lender, title or escrow team, document recipient, or other responsible party.

State-specific and remote requirements

State-specific participation

Notarial authority, real-estate closing practices, witness rules, attorney-participation requirements, and document acceptance vary by jurisdiction and transaction. Publishing nationwide coordination information does not mean every service, professional, document, or method is available or lawful everywhere.

In any future engagement, the requesting client would be responsible for identifying and retaining any attorney, title, escrow, settlement, witness, or other authorized professional required for the transaction. Central PA Notary LLC does not supply attorney services as part of standard notary coordination. Central PA Notary LLC may decline or condition a proposed engagement when applicable requirements or professional roles are unclear.

Remote online and hybrid requests

Remote online notarization and hybrid coordination are not currently offered through this site. Any future review would occur only when the notary is properly authorized, the document and transaction are eligible, the signer can complete the required identity and technology steps, a suitable platform is available, and the receiving organization accepts the method. General interest in a remote or hybrid path does not establish eligibility or acceptance.

Your responsibilities

When using the website or contacting us, you agree to:

  • provide accurate contact, location, timing, document-category, and operational information that you are authorized to share;
  • identify the authorized client contact and promptly communicate changes, cancellations, deadlines, and special requirements;
  • supply lawful, complete client instructions and obtain any transaction, signer, witness, attorney, platform, or receiving-party approvals required for the requested method;
  • avoid placing signer names, exact street addresses, government ID numbers, Social Security or account numbers, document contents, credentials, or document packages in the initial website form or ordinary email; and
  • send sensitive information only through a secure transfer method that Central PA Notary LLC has approved for an accepted engagement.

You are responsible for keeping any private tracking code and status access confidential. Contact us promptly if a code or assignment communication reaches an unintended person.

Availability and third parties

Online service-request intake is not currently open. General email or phone availability does not guarantee a response, professional availability, coverage, appointment timing, method eligibility, platform access, or successful completion. Weather, travel, signer readiness, document issues, identity-verification results, platform interruptions, carrier delays, recipient decisions, and legal requirements can affect an assignment.

A future accepted assignment may involve commissioned notaries, technology platforms, communications providers, couriers, carriers, and other third parties. Each professional remains responsible for the work and legal duties assigned to that role. A third-party service may also apply its own lawful terms and privacy practices. Central PA Notary LLC cannot guarantee a third party's conduct, availability, technology, government authorization, or receiving-party decision.

Website content and practical limits

Informational content

Website guides, coverage descriptions, examples, and status labels are general operational information. They are not legal advice and may not reflect a later change in law, platform rules, recipient requirements, or the facts of a particular transaction. Confirm material requirements with the appropriate government authority, attorney, client, platform, or receiving party.

Intellectual property

The website's original text, graphics, branding, arrangement, and software are owned by Central PA Notary LLC or used with permission. You may view, link to, and make reasonable internal business use of the public information. You may not misrepresent the content as your own, use it to impersonate the business, interfere with the service, or use automated means in a way that damages or overloads the website.

Service limitations

Central PA Notary LLC is responsible for coordination only to the extent expressly accepted in a written confirmation or agreement. The website may occasionally be unavailable or contain an error, and no online system can be promised to operate without interruption. Any service-specific limitations belong in the written agreement for that engagement. Nothing in these terms waives a right, remedy, warranty, or responsibility that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

Privacy, governing law, and changes

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle website, request, tracking, operations, and prospective-notary information. Do not use the website to send sensitive information outside an approved secure process.

Governing law

These website terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, without displacing mandatory rights or requirements that apply under another jurisdiction's law. Assignment-specific legal and notarial requirements remain governed by the law applicable to that assignment.

Changes

We may revise these terms as the website, coordination service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after revised terms take effect means the revised website terms apply to later use; previously accepted work remains governed by its written confirmation or agreement.
